Schoolies 2013: Fiji Bound

It took a lot of persuading and drama for me to even get to Fiji, but I made it! I actually arrived 2 days after my girls and surprised my best friend. Her reaction was priceless! I had the most amazing 10-day end-of-school celebration with the best company in the world. Like seeing them every day for the past few years was not enough....

These 10 days consisted of going out to the beach at our doorsteps, tanning, watersports, swimming, drowning, laughing, screaming and mainly just having fun. We also managed to go clubbing and partying almost every night to add the schoolies life.

We went to the Uprising Resort for the day for 2 days and it was just beautiful. It's so private and relaxing which was perfect.

Our main destination was the Sheraton Resort in Denarau. This place is beyond beautiful. We were fortunate enough to have 2 villas for ourselves. The resort had 3 different pool areas along the island and the resort was connected with all the other resorts so it was basically a walk along the beach to the next resort! Sunset was definitely my favourite time of day just to look out at the horizon and see the sun set. Breathtaking!

The people in Fiji are such beautiful and kind beings! Seriously, they're all so nice. Everyone you meet has a smile on their face. I am so thankful to have these girls in my life and to call them my friends, and to have been able to go on this trip and spend the amazing time I had with them. I couldn't have been happier!
