All the times I come back to California, I always wanted to walk the Runyon Canyon Trails. Hearing about the views, cute dogs and of course the celebrities that take these tracks sold me. For me to have a free day and NOT feel lazy... Why not?
I drove up the mountains of LA/Hollywood to one of the entrances of these trails. I love driving up these mountains past the big houses! Not to mention that so many celebrities live in the area. The view is so amazing during the drive up but it gets so much better in the peaks of the trails.
There were about 4 or 5 different mountain tops that we could reach. The trails all lead and connected to another trail, so we just kept walking and climbing, up and down, through different trails not knowing which direction we were going in, but it was magnificent!
You literally could see almost all of the West Coast! All of LA, the Hollywood Sign to the left, Santa Monica beach and Pier. Everything!
